Our Story

From a virtual Qur’an circle to a full school

Oceans Academy was established in 2019 with the mission of continuously seeking knowledge, because it can never be exhausted. We have grown from a humble virtual program focused mainly on Qur’an and Islamic Studies into a well-known, established Islamic school serving the DMV region.

Today we provide high-quality Quranic and academic education at an affordable price, connecting our students with the Qur’an through the science of proper recitation and memorization, and strengthening their understanding through Tafsir and Qur’an Arabic.

To help children connect with Allah SWT through learning, memorizing and understanding the noble Qur’an, taught alongside Arabic, Seerah and Tafsir, and enriched by traditional books for a deeper learning experience.
